About the Presentation

 

Shining Light Choreography

 

Shining Light presentations include 7-8 songs, which are presented with hip-hop oriented choreography to better capture the attention of our targeted audiences.

 

Songs and choreography are generally presented by the whole group, many of whom do not have previous dance experience. Those with dance backgrounds can audition for solo/featured dance roles.

 

Highly skilled dancers within the group who have choreography experience can also have the opportunity of creating our choreography.

 

As with drama and music, we have both high artistic standards for our soloists/featured dancers, and high expectations that they will seek to live as followers of Jesus every day.

 

We continually learn new music and choreography, replacing songs as we learn new ones and as other related components of the presentation are replaced. Our goal is to have all new music every 12-18 months.
