Here are some pictures of the 2008 Tennessee–Ohio Tour. Our theme for this tour is DO HARD THINGS. Our devotions and discussions will be based around a book written by teenagers, for teenagers, about "rebelling against low expectations."
As we travel over 1800 miles to offer our presentation in 4 secure youth facilities, a church, and for a variety of shelters and rehab facilities in Nashville, we will experience unique opportunities to see how God works. Going into challenging situations, meeting non-believers and people of other faiths in an open and caring way, and even living and working so closely together for nine days, provides the challenge of doing some hard things but also the rewards of doing them in Jesus’ name.
As Shining Light goes through this journey together, we will have periodic opportunities to post pictures to this web page. However, due to the nature of the trip and the types of facilities we will be visiting, internet access for posting pictures may only be periodically available, however, we'll try our best to post as many pictures, as many times as we can. A final update will be made on June 21, shortly after our return, so please continually check back.
