The ride to Maine wasn’t too long; the five hours that it took to get here didn’t seem like five hours. It was really neat to look out the window and see the fog pervading the scenery. The trees and everything else were engulfed in it.
I also enjoyed being on a two lane road versus driving on a highway like we normally do. It created a peaceful sense to look out of the window and not see any other cars nor commercial buildings. When peering out of the front window, the road seemingly continued on forever into nothingness.
I’m excited to go running with Hannah in the morning to the shower that is supposedly four blocks away. I’m always up for an adventure.
