Shining Light's California tour schedule

Shining Light is pleased to announce the schedule for their upcoming tour to California from June 17 to 26, which includes eight presentations, including three presentations at the famous (or infamous) San Quentin State Prison.

 

June 17 2:15 p.m. Pacific arrive in San Francisco
(go to Pt Bonita YMCA, Sausalito – overnight location for 4 nights)
June 18 2:00 p.m. Presentation Preston Youth Correctional Facility
June 19 6:30 p.m. Presentation in San Quentin State Prison
June 20

8:30 &

10:30 a.m.

  4-8:00 p.m. Free Time in San Francisco
June 21   Yosemite National Park (overnight in Camp Curry)
June 22  

Yosemite National Park & Mariposa Grove

Shining Light's tour hits the web

As Shining Light has over the last two years, the California tour will be shared with our friends, fans, and families back home via our home on the web. We'll be utilizing a wide variety of tools to bring California right to your fingertips, including:

 

  • Twitter: Follow "ShiningLightPA" throughout the trip, live, as it happens. Matt and Charissa will be updating frequently, sharing tour with you. Updates will be posted right to this home page (see the app at right). If you want updates sent right your cell phone, click here to follow the tutorial.
  • Pictures: As they have over the last two years, Jeff and Rose will be providing dozens of daily pictures for you to follow along with the trip. This year, those pictures will be posted right to Shining Light's page on Facebook. However, you don't need to join Facebook to see them. Just click the link that's posted on this page each day.
  • Videos: Last year, Angela provided a daily tour video, full of member activities, interviews and much more! This year, Angela promises more! Follow along on Shining Light's YouTube channel (and right on this page!) each day.
  • Blogging: As we've provided at points throughout the season, Shining Light members will be sharing their thoughts and feelings throughout the trip. Follow along on Shining Light's blog.
